Drugie spotkanie w ramach projektu Tree Remember Me/ Second meeting of the Tree Remember Me project

Pamięć o złu nie może być oddzielona od pamięci o dobru. W czasie Holokaustu wielu ludzi nie zapomniało, że są ludźmi i ryzykowało życie, by ocalić choć jednego z nich. Teraz są oni wspominani jako Sprawiedliwi Wśród Narodów Świata.
Dziś mieliśmy wspaniałą okazję pracować wspólnie nad naszym projektem Tree Remember Me. Polska jest krajem o największej liczbie Sprawiedliwych Wśród Narodów Świata, ale wszystkie szkoły z krajów biorących udział w projekcie zbadały i zaprezentowały swoich Sprawiedliwych Wśród Narodów Świata. Postanowiliśmy ich upamiętnić symbolem drzewa, idąc za słowami z Talmudu: "Kto ratuje jedno życie, ratuje cały świat".
W trakcie spotkania powstała prezentacja, w której uczniowie stworzyli cyfrowy las z imionami Sprawiedliwych Wśród Narodów z Włoch, Polski, Grecji, Niemiec  i Portugalii. Klikając na każde imię, można przeczytać krótką historię życia tych bohaterów.

The memory of evil cannot be separated from the memory of good. During the Holocaust, many people did not forget that they were human beings and risked their lives to save at least one of them. Now they are remembered as Righteous Among the Nations.
Today we had the wonderful opportunity to work together on our Tree Remember Me project. Poland is the country with the highest number of Righteous Among the Nations, but all the schools in the participating countries have researched and presented their Righteous Among the Nations. We decided to commemorate them with a tree symbol, following the words from the Talmud: "Whoever saves one life saves the whole world".
 During the meeting, a presentation was created in which the pupils created a digital forest with the names of the Righteous Among the Nations from Italy, Poland, Greece, Germany and Portugal. By clicking on each name, you can read a short story about the lives of these heroes.
